In recognition of ongoing news reports and the continued spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus), we realize our patients may have questions. The information that we receive changes rapidly. As dedicated health care professionals we want you to know we remain as diligent as ever in protecting the health and safety of our patients and staff. As of today, we are following the recommendations of the Public Health Officials, the CDC, our Federal and Local Government Agencies, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons to ensure that we are doing all that is possible for you our patients, our employees and the community to remain protected.
What does this mean to you, our patients? As of today, March 20, 2020 ALL non-urgent appointments will be cancelled through April 3, 2020 for in office appointments and your appointments will be moved to a later date with priority. The use of TeleMedicine will be used if you would like to speak with the doctor or nurse about your condition by phone and prefer not to come into the office with a non-emergent case. Dr. Spott will continue to see all post-operative and urgent cases in the office. We will notify you by phone the status of your appointment.
As of right now, all elective surgeries are cancelled until April 8th, 2020 which is recommended by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the American College of Surgeons (ACS), and the U.S. Surgeon General. This date can be extended if these governing bodies along with local hospitals and outpatient centers decide it is in the best interest of the public to do so.
You can use the patient portal to contact us directly through email. The office phones will be answered Monday - Friday 8:30am- 4pm. Please feel free to call if you have questions regarding your upcoming appointment, medications, or orthopedic related questions. If you have a pressing orthopedic issue, call the office, if we do not answer or it is after hours, go to the emergency room. You can leave a message and we will get back to you in the following 1-2 business days. We will follow the guidelines that have been laid out for us, together we will make sure your orthopedic needs are cared for. We will take every precaution to make sure our patients and staff members remain safe during this time. We are here for you and will answer any questions you may have.

GO TO YOUR NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING THESE SYMPTOMS AS WELL AS RESPIRATORY DISTRESS.
